Platycerium grande is a giant staghorn from the Philippines. These make large shields, but do not pup.
P.grande can be distinguished from P. superbum by the double spore lobes on each fertile frond. P. superbum is called P. grande in the horticultural trade, but they are not the same.
P. grande is sensitive to cold.
