Hydnophytum formicarum

One of the so-called ant plants. These myrmecophytes have caudexes with holes in them, leading to hollow spaces. They are occupied by ants, which protect the plant. I find this species a little more difficult than some, but it does well in an open mix. Tree fern can work, or something like peat/sphagnum, mixed with medium grades of bark and sponge rock.  3″ pots.
